COURSE DETAILS
Please book early as places are restricted to 5 places only.
You do not need to bring anything to the workshops as all tools and plenty of tea and coffee are provided.
Materials are included in the price with the exception of level 3 courses as learners may want to explore different projects.
Level 1 courses are for absolute beginners. You will taught the basics of traditional jewellery making skills and learn sawing, filing, soldering, texturing, ring making, wire bending and finishing.
Level 2 courses are tailored to learners who have experience and some basic knowledge. You will begin to create slightly more challenging pieces and learn the basics of stone setting.
Level 3 courses are ideal if you have started to work independently but still require guidance and advice. They are more flexible in catering for individual direction and support.
Ring Making – This is a one off session where you will make and finish your own silver ring to take away with you. You will be shown how to shape, form, solder and texture or finish it to your own design. This is suitable from absolute beginner level. Materials are provided.
Bangles – This is a one off session which builds on the skills learnt from the ring making workshop. You will be taught how to form, shape and solder your bangle as well as how to create charms to hang from it. This is suitable from absolute beginners level. Materials are provided
Stacking rings – This is a one off session where you can enjoy the latest trend in making and wearing your own stack of rings. You can make up to 5 thin section rings of different designs to stack on your fingers. Similar skills will be taught as in the ring making workshop. This is suitable for beginners. Materials are provided.
The workshop is available for hire, to hire with me present for hands on guidance when needed, or 1 to 1 tuition.

Make Your Own Wedding Rings
When you make a piece of jewellery you put a part of yourself and soul into it, and that remains there forever. You remember every tiny detail of it and every second of energy you put in to it.
What could be more special than to craft a totally unique and bespoke ring for each other, putting time, effort, love and patience into each others rings, which you can be reminded by everytime you look at them.
No experience is needed, as I will guide you through the stages of making and work at your own pace and ability. The day is just for you both and you will be given my sole attention in my contemporary workshop set in the private garden.
There will be an initial consultation where designs and material will discussed so that they can be ordered. This is included in the total price but materials must be paid for on the day.
A mutually agreed time over one or two days over the weekend can be then arranged. You will receive a bottle of champagne to enjoy after making your rings and photographs of you both working throughout the day.
Extra costs would involve sending the rings for hallmarking and any stone setting which can be done after your work.
